Our Why?
We are often asked our why for many things in life. Why do you do this? Why did you do that? Want to know our WHY for this foundation? Simple- William Dean Brakefield, or more lovingly known as Bubba. He was the sweetest, silliest, most fun loving, loyal, goofball that ever walked the Earth. Not a single person could dislike him. After a very hard fought battle with Rhabdomyosarcoma that began in the early fall of 2004 Bubba sadly left us for his forever Heavenly home on January 9th 2007. We want to keep his memory forever alive and help progress research to hopefully one day find a cure for Rhabdomyosarcoma.

About us
We are a team of Bubba's loved ones that want to make sure to share his memory and life with others and continue to shine his bright light on others. We are his parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family who all love and miss him deeply.
